Fort Peck launches 41st season of summer theatre
The Fort Peck Fine Arts Council launches 41st season at the historic Fort Peck Summer Theatre May 28-June 12 with “Forever Plaid.” This musical revue centers on four young, eager male singers killed in a car crash in the 1950s while enroute to their first big concert. Now, miraculously revived, they get a chance to fulfill their dreams and perform the show that never was. Read more

The Illustrious Virginia City Players, produced by Rocky Mountain College, kick off their 61st summer season May 29 with the first of three melodramas, “The Fire from Within,” described as an “edge-of-your-seat” historical fiction based on the Butte mining disaster of 1917. Celebrate the season with SpringFest
SpringFest, the Moss Mansion’s 22nd annual outdoor juried arts and crafts festival, will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 5, on the lawn of the Moss Mansion, 914 Division Street, in Billings. “Sweat and Steel” captures railroading spirit at Livingston Depot Center
“Sweat and Steel,” a new exhibition by Livingston artist C. David Swanson, opens May 29 at the Livingston Depot Center, and continues through Sept. 6. The series of 18 figurative paintings forcefully depict railroad workers on Montana’s MRL and BNSF lines. Read more
