Arab-American artist creates installation at MSU Billings

An installation by Arab-American artist Hend Al-Mansour, titled “Fatimah in America III,” is on display Jan. 14-Feb. 11 at Northcutt Steele Gallery at MSU Billings. Brrrr: Patrick Smith focuses on icy realms in “Polar”

Patrick Smith shares images of icy realms in "Polar: Photographs from the Ice," on display through Jan. 9 at the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings. His work reflects a keen appreciation of the strikingly austere natural landscapes of the Earth's polar regions. Rather than simply documenting what he sees, however, he interacts with what is there, even when "what is there" seems to be very sparse. Read more

Billings Artwalk offers lively mix for the holidays

The MSU Billings Art Department presents an exhibition of original photographs by Andy Warhol, Nov. 5-Dec. 10 at Northcutt Steele Gallery in Billings. In honor of the 20th anniversary of The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, 159 original photographs by the famed pop artist were presented to MSU Billings – the only Montana educational institution to be accepted into the program.
