Historic Tamarack Lodge: Basecamp for adventure
An AAA Diamond member, the Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins are known for year-round hospitality, clean and comfortable cabins and lodge rooms, continental breakfasts and affordable lodging rates. The lodge is situated in near the west entrance to Glacier National Park, in a spectacular mountain valley in the midst of the Montana Rockies.
The Main Lodge – originally built in 1907 and updated in 2003 – provides classic ambiance with modern amenities. Its 3,400 square feet of rustic charm includes the original oversized natural stone fireplace and pole-pine lodge architecture. Lodge rooms are available, as well as 17 cabins to suit various budgets whether travelling alone, as a family or in a group.
The lodge is located in the Gateway2Glacier area, just minutes outside of the west entrance to Glacier National Park, with the Flathead National Forest as its backyard. Visitors are within easy driving distance to nearby Bigfork, Flathead Lake, Kalispell and Whitefish.
