Fun abounds at Whitefish Winter Carnival
The Whitefish Winter Carnival fills the downtown streets and Whitefish Mountain Resort Feb. 4-6 with a plethora of indoor and outdoor fun. Carnival action revs up with a dinner, silent auction and ball, Friday at Grouse Mountain Lodge. Saturday's highlights include the Penguin Plunge, Yeti Snowskate Jam, the Black Star Beer Barter, the Grand Parade, and a torchlight parade and fireworks. Read more
Ten Tenors change Billings concert date to Feb. 10
The Ten Tenors, an Australian vocal group, recently notified the Alberta Bair Theater in Billings that, due to unavoidable travel circumstances, they must change their show date from Tuesday, Feb. 8 to Thursday, Feb. 10. The group will introduce their new show, “The Power of Ten” – a unique blend of high-octane arias and kick-driven rock classics, punctuated with divine tenderness. Read more

Specialists from the country's leading auction houses and independent dealers from across the nation were in Billings June 26, 2010, offering free appraisals of antiques and collectibles during a filming of the popular PBS program, “Antiques Roadshow.” That visit airs on Montana PBS during three one-hour segments, 7 p.m. April 11, 18 and 25. Snoop Dogg brings rap, hip-hop to Great Falls
Snoop Dogg, the embodiment of ’90s’ gangsta rap, hits the Great Falls Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Introduced to the world through Dr. Dre's The Chronic, Snoop quickly became the most famous star in rap, partially because of his drawled, laconic rhyming and partially because the violence that his lyrics implied seemed real. Snoop eventually began to revamp his public image, moving away from his gangsta roots toward a calmer lyrical aesthetic. Read more
