“Les Danses de L’Amour” comes to Bozeman

Youth Arts in Action presents “Les Danses de L’Amour,” 7 p.m. March 24 at the Emerson Center. The performance features classical and contemporary dances of love with pas de deux and solos by an international cast from Staatsballett Berlin, which has been voted by dance critics as one of the top five ballet companies in the world.
Dancers include Montana’s own Maria Sascha Khan, mentor for Youth Arts in Action, an organization that strives to inspire, educate and sponsor outstanding young artists.
Members of Staatsballett Berlin also offer a Dancer Workshop, 4:15-6 p.m. March 22 at the Emerson Center. Advance registration is required, and costs $65; call 406-522-0404 or register at www.youthartsinaction.org.
Youth Arts in Action has awarded more than $33,000 in scholarships, helping dancers attend such world-class programs as American Ballet Theatre in New York City, the San Francisco Ballet School, Royal Ballet School in London, and the Bolshoi Academy of Ballet in Moscow.
