Montana Coffee Traders: Three locations in the Flathead

Need a cup of Montana-roasted coffee? Great coffee, food and freshly baked treats are just moments away for Flathead Valley visitors and residents.

Montana Coffee Traders has been the Flathead Valley's premier coffee roaster since 1981 and has cafes conveniently located in Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Kalispell. The Whitefish roasting headquarters is located at 5810 Highway 93 South, a half-mile south of the junction of highways 40 and 93. It offers roasting tours at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and is open Monday through Saturday (406-862-7628).

Our second Whitefish location is open daily in the heart of downtown at 110 Central Avenue. This coffeehouse features a full espresso bar, homemade soups, sandwiches, Panini and fresh baked treats. Unique gifts, tea selections and free wireless Internet access make this downtown coffeehouse a local favorite (406-862-7667).

Montana Coffee Traders in Columbia Falls provides its customers a unique coffee house experience. Located in the old Pines Cafe & Fish Museum, you can still come in and see the giant pine tree in the middle of the cafe and the fish on the walls. Enjoy a latte or sample the full breakfast and lunch menu. The café also offers free wireless Internet and is open daily on Hwy. 2, just west of Nucleus Ave. (406-892-7696).

A Kalispell tradition since 1991, Montana Coffee Traders Cafe serves up the freshest coffee and espresso in town, as well as baked goods and “made from scratch” breakfast and lunch items. Check out the famous wall of coffee, free wireless and a fun, friendly atmosphere. The café is open Monday through Saturday at 328 West Center Street (406-756-2326).
