Northern Rockies Paddlefest offers free kayak demos

Try out kayaks and canoes from area paddling shops for free during the annual Northern Rockies Paddlefest and Kayak Demo Days, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 22-23 at Wayfarer’s State Park near Bigfork.

Participants should wear quick-dry clothing and water-friendly footwear for comfort.

Ask questions, compare different boats from three area paddling shops: Rocky Mountain Outfitter, Glacier Sea Kayaking and the Sportsman Ski Haus, who sponsor this event, along with the assistance of Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks.
