Registration open for Got Grit? Obstacle Course and Grizzly Marathon
Published: January 27, 2011
The Got Grit? and Grizzly Marathon events are now listed on Active.com.
“So what's the big deal?” asks race director Syd Rogers. “First of all, these are limited entries – only 120 people get to try out the new Got Grit? obstacle course on July 2 and the Grizzly Marathon and half marathon on Aug. 6 are limited to 150 entrants each.”
The marathon is preceded by 5k and 10k runs Aug. 5. Friday’s festivities also include a birthday celebration, with cake, in honor of the marathon’s 10th anniversary.
This year, free massages are available for marathoners and half marathoners and participants and volunteers have an opportunity to win a 10-stone diamond anniversary band.
To register for the Grizzly Marathon, Aug. 5-6 near Choteau, go to www.active.com/running/choteau-mt/grizzly-marathon-12-10k-and-5k-2011.
The new Got Grit? Obstacle Course begins at 4 p.m. July 2, and includes a rope climb, cargo-net climb, ground clearance crawl, sprints, tire drills, a tire tumble and a wheelbarrow push. Register at www.active.com/more-sports/choteau-mt/got-grit-obstacle-course-2011.
